The system utilizes hardware security features embedded in your server's CPU. By not relying exclusively on software to provide security, there are fewer opportunities available for exploitation by hackers.
Because software development in this environment can only be performed by registered software-developers, social factors that facilitate the creation and distribution of various forms of malware are not present.
The system architecture incorporates security at all levels. Notably, access to data on a SiteFortress server is available only after the administrator has successfully negotiated two separate levels of authentication. System administrators and developers must successfully negotiate a network-level access check and a separate account-level access check before they gain access to the server. If required, account-level policies can enforce strong-password policies, and core system features can be made available only to members of a separate system administrator account.

The SiteFortress platform provides a set of proprietary content-management frameworks that overlay the CORONA OS and provide a tested methodology for rapidly developing secure websites. As an alternative to the pre-built frameworks, SiteFortress can be used to design a completely customised high-volume business website. Each SiteFortress framework is a toolkit that enables the SiteFortress developer to rapidly deploy secure interactive websites. Accessible through a flexible web-based SiteBuilder tool, the developer has a high-level of control over both content and style. A range of tools are provided to edit data in either WYSYWIG or pure HTML.

SiteFortress supports many popular Internet technologies including DHTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP and Ajax to facilitate the creation of content-rich but secure websites. Other technologies, such as PHP, which represent a level of risk that cannot be easily managed, are simply not supported.
Of course, the web server forms only part of your entire network infrastructure, and it is important that the other vulnerable components of your network are also secured. Your SiteFortress consultant can assist with evaluating and addressing security concerns across your entire information infrastructure.
